Not sure what to say?

Dearest Noriega family-i just found out about Steve's passing today as i browsed the sjb tribe newsletter. i was a park leader at san martin park in the late 60"s - early 70's and met Steve then. I never remember seeing him with anything less than wide grin and him describing a pending prank on an unsuspecting victim. to this day, i remember his most outlandish prank on me when he attempted to lessen the amount of an assessed flag- football penalty on his team by loudly counting 10 yards out...

Our most profound condolences on the passing of Steve. There is no way this man is gone. As we walk by your home nighltyl we still see that proverbial glow, that only you could generate. Steve was so full energy, a magnicent smile and contiguous laugh. I worked along side him when I worked as a manager at Lucky Stores. We could hear walk in the store fifty yards away. You couldn't help but like this guy. Later on in our lives, we were lucky enough to be a neigbor, just down the next...

My heart and prayers go out to the Noriega family and all those that were graced by him. May you be assured that Steve will always be loved and admired by those he touched. May God bring you comfort in your time of sorrow.
Blessings,

Steve - My heart goes out to your family during this time of sadness. I will miss seeing you around town. It was always great to see your smile, get updates about your family, and get a hug. Lots of good memories from St. Cyprian in our young years to AYSO soccer games and dances as adults. I will be praying for your family. Love, Pam Ranney Reitz

We will all miss his smile on the ball field.

I worked softball games with Steve for LA Coastline Umpires Association ,ASA and our Long Beach Umpires unit. Steve always had a smile on his face during the game and even when he felt he made the wrong call he just laughed it off and kept doing the great job he was called to do. I really enjoyed working and knowing Steve as person and an umpire for the years that I knew him.
My prayers are with you all during this sorrowful time for a great husband, dad and gand-dad. Steve will be...

We always had great stories to share, and we often laughed together until it hurt!
Steve was such a happy and cheerful man. We sat together at last years ASA National clinic in La Mirada. We always had a great time umpiring softball together. Steve always put a smile on my face. I miss you ol' buddy.

My prayers go out to all of you at this time of great sorrow. May you find comfort in the many memories you have of happier times. God Bless you all. Joyce Yocam

We are so sorry for your loss. I remember Steve well from work at Coca-Cola. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and may God Bless you all.
