I started out my working career at O´Connors Hardware and made dozens of friends there. I met my wife at The House of Flavors, right next door. Steve was a part of it all and we eventually went off to Ferris as college roommates. Steve was a good friend back then and an even better family man. We had good training from the O´Connors! Steve, you will be missed but never forgotten. Always in our hearts - see you again my friend. Here is a photo of Steve and my buddies at my wedding in 1983....

My fondest memories are from working at O´Connors and having Steve as a best friend. I will always cherish having him in my life. Deepest condolences

I grew up in the Kentwood neighborhood; right down the street. So sorry to hear of your sudden loss. My thoughts are with you and the family.

Kim and family, Words escape me other than to say that I am deeply saddened by your loss and pray for peace and comfort for all who knew Steve. Golf league will not be the same without his smile, sense of humor, and unending optimism.
