Not sure what to say?

Because of Steve I met my wife, when he
threw a birthday party for me in his top floor apt 18 years ago. I had been complaining to him about how hard it was to meet single women in SF. Well Steve invited about 10 single women, including friends of my men friends, and presented me with the most unusual night of my life. Wow!
Where do you start?
Well I can see Steve now with that little chuckle and twinkle in his eye. Thank you Steve because of you I met the woman of my life,...

To Steve's Family-
We had seen Steve since graduating from the San Francisco Art Institute but, in our minds, we will always picture him as a young man riding his motocycle with his dog (Tar- with a red kerchief tied around a furry neck) around Russian Hill where we used to go to school and live. I am so sorry for your loss, and we will all miss his great smile.

Gabi, Phaedra and Aurelio,
My heartfelt sympathies go out to you. I will always remember how kind and loving he was with his children. My thoughts are with you.

We are so sorry for your loss. Steve was a wonderful member of our neighborhood and will be missed. Our thoughts are with his family on this mournful day.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

My sympathy to all of Steve’s family. We were friends and neighbors when we attended SF Art Institute. I remember Tar and her puppy. We weren’t in touch for a long time, but, when I conjure up my memory of him, it is always heartwarming. I’m so sorry for your loss.

May your hearts be filled always with your father's LOVE for you Gabi, Phaedra, and Aurelio. Our prayers and love for your family. Janet & Bill Farrar

I will always remember Steve on the floor playing with Emily Granger at the Anniversary party. He was so loving and gentle. My love and sympathy. Joan Stalnaker (Emily and Natalie grandmother)
