Steve was one of the most inspirational young men that I had the pleasure of teaching at National University, as well as working with as a colleague in CUSD. He was bright, skilled, dedicated and personable. He had a heart of gold, loved his roles as a school psychologist, father, husband and friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ott family and your loss. Steve spent three years working closely with our son, Cole. I watched Cole grow from a shy boy who rarely smiled to a confident, loving boy who opened up in school and to his friends. steve invested so much of himself in Cole and was always there for him.
