Dear Joany,

My sincerest condolences to you and your family on the passing of Steve. I worked with him at Northeastern and through his decisions to join TI. Steve was smart, big hearted and truly admired by his NU community. I'm grateful to have known him and so sad for your loss.

Shock would be an understatement. Our short time together will hold memories for life. Pumpkin carving contest, which I am pretty sure I won as a rookiie, will never be forgotten.. If you make you way back to the valley, always a place to stay. stay strong.

Joany, I am so sorry, Jan and I just received this sad news 30 minutes ago and am so shocked and grief-stricken I can hardly compose my thoughts here.

Wow, what a great guy Steve was, an incredible couple you were together, and a beautiful family you have with Matthew and Nathan. So many joyful memories are flooding my mind right now, and the tears are flowing...our kids as infants together in Nice, the excursions to Les Beaux de Provence, the Mas de la Dame winery, trips to Avignon...

Joany, I am so shocked and saddened to learn of Steve's passing. So thankful I was able to spend time with you both at our class reunion. I am praying for you and your family during this difficult time.
