Steven Gary Parnes

Dr. Steven Parnes was one of those rare health care providers who opened himself and his life to his patients. We would talk about his cats, his home, his career, his military service and the new car he purchased a bit before he died. Even during treatment, we would talk about my cats, my late husband and a bit about our faiths. A warm, funny, caring, absolutely genuine man who will be missed. May his memory be for a blessing.

Dr. Parnes was a man who was kind and caring. Never aloof, he would share his own life events with his patients, swapping stories with other "cat parents," clearly very happy and secure in who he was, his life and his profession as the years went by. His concern for his patients' health always was a priority for him. He invested himself in his patients and their lives. He cared.
