Pearson, Steven G., age 52, a resident of Shelby, AL, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Bay Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Linholm officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana.
Mr. Pearson is preceded in death by his father, Billy Pearson; brother, Phillip Pearson and brother-in-law, Chuck Dobbs. He is survived by his wife, Frieda Pearson; daughter, Jolena Pearson; mother, Joyce Pearson; mother-in-law, Josephine Beard; brothers, Kenny Ray (Renee) Pearson, Billy Jo (Carrie) Pearson; sisters-in-law, Pat Pearson, Charlotte (Dan) Wolfe, Sheila Dobbs; nieces, Haleigh, Eva, Stacey Lisa; nephews, Nicholas, Hunter, Jared, Jeremy, Rick and numerous other family and friends. Meeting Steve was one of the best things to happen to me.His passing is the hardest thing I will have to accept. Jolena was another one of the the blessing from him.
