Not sure what to say?

It's been many years since I have seen Steve. He and I were friends in the years 1970 through graduation. Even though I have not seen Steve for years, I will always remember his loving ways and his ever endearing smile and laughter. God bless all of you and may you find comfort in this time of grief. Be comforted in knowing that Steve is well remembered for ALL that he shared with his many, many friends over the years. Steve you will never be forgotten.... not even by someone who knew...

Steve,
I'm pretty sure I've never known anyone who enjoyed life and shared their enjoyment with others in the generous ways you and Jeanette did together. I'm immediately sad when I hear your voice in my mind, knowing my ears will never hear it again... But the second I think about what you'd be saying I find myself smiling, if not laughing. Thank you for that gift. It will go on and on.

Steve...We have spent the last week alternating between tears and smiles. Tears, because we will miss you and your love-of-life spirit so much; you've been taken from all your friends and family much too soon. And, smiles, as we remember all the good times shared with you and Jeannette. We will hold those precious memories close forever and you can be assured we will watch over her...All our love, Ray Rock and Sandy Stone

Steve,
Thank you for everything. I can't stop smiling when I think of our times together. No matter what we did, it was always fun. Whether flying to the Keys, scaring the workers in the fields or just talking, I looked forward to every minute. I will miss you. Thank you for being my friend.

Steve, It's been a long time. You and I go way back. I am surprised we haven't seen each other in Ocracoke. I spend alot of time there also. I will see you again someday and we can catch up. God Bless Your Family!

Steve you will be missed very much, we did alot in our lives. You left this world in Ocracoke, the place I know you loved. Till we meet again. Your Friend Steve

To the family of Steven Pescatore,
my prayers are with all of you as you go through this time of sorrow, know that you will forever be in my prayers.

Jeannette-was so sorry to see this in the paper today. Believe it or not, I was just thinking about Steve this week! I talked with Pat Murphree this morning and we were rehashing all the "good old days" at the Humane Society with Steve. I know he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. I can't help but think of the many animals he helped with all his volunteering. He truly made a difference. My thoughts are with you and your family. Laura (Carr) Hughes
