PETERS - Steven Edward Of Akron, NY, entered into rest November 5, 2014, beloved son of Jeffrey and Nancy (nee Finger) Peters of Akron, NY; loving brother of Kelly (Brian) Spurlock of Clarence, NY, Scott (Torrey) Peters of Pittsford, NY and Kristin (Greg) Jelson of Akron, NY; dearest grandson of B. Jean Peters of Akron, NY, the late Bud Peters and the late Lawson and Jean Finger; also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. No prior calling hours. Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial service in St. John's Lutheran Church, 168 Main St., Akron, NY, on Monday, November 10, 2014, at 11 AM, with Pastor Jamie Retallack and Pastor Donald Buetel officiating. Burial will be held for the convenience of the family. Flowers gratefully declined. Expressions of sympathy made to the American Lyme Disease Foundation or AppalachianTrail.org in Steven's memory would be appreciated by the family.
