Nicole told me last night that she'd bumped into you at a Heritage band concert, and that Steve had died a few weeks ago. I am so sorry! He was such a kind and good man. I hope that in time you and your girls will be comforted by warm memories. For now, though, I am sure it's very hard to be without him. I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Pa Peterson will be truly missed! I never got my chance to sit on the tailgate with him. But, the many memories I have will live on forever.

The Peterson ladies are a forced to be reckoned with and Pa Peterson is the proudest father / husband in Heaven. I'm proud to have the Pa Peterson and the ladies as my extended family. I love you all.

I shared an office with Steve and he was a wonderful person and great confidant. He was a great listener and gave wonderful advice to me as I was being battered by the union. I will always treasure the talks we had, he had a unique way of putting things in perspective. He was there for me during one of the most difficult periods of my life. The world has lost a kind and generous man. I am truly sorry for your loss.
