Steven Peterson

This news is very sad indeed.  I did not know Steve vey well, but benefited from his wisdom as one of my editors in my most recent PLS publication (with Chris Larimer) and enjoyed a very pleasant dinner with him in Chicago after a session at the Midwest Political Science meetings in 2019 (?) that he chaired & where I presented a paper.  His passing makes it doubly sad that we were unable to have another stimulating dinner together as planned for the IPSA meetings in Lisbon in 2020 (postponed)...

Steve was a pioneer in biopolitics and a team leader who must have greatly benefitted Penn State Harrisburg. As a fellow graduate student, his loss is deeply felt. A photo of Steve in Chicago when we met in 2018.

I met Steven through the Amazon discussion board way back when. He was always a gentlemen. Over the years I enjoyed discussing beer, food and music with him. I will miss our talks. My heart hurts for his family and friends and I send much love their way.
