Steven Kingsbury Pimer, age 74, of Sebring, FL, passed away on January 9, 2025. Born on February 7, 1950, in Philadelphia, PA, Steven was the son of the late Richard and Elizabeth Pimer.
A proud veteran, Steven honorably served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1972. Following his military service, he built a successful career as a Computer Consultant. In 2019, he and his wife made Sebring their home, embracing the warmth of the community.
Steven was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 50 years, Colleen Pimer, and a loving father to his two children, Meghan Lupotsky (Brian) of Pennsylvania and Jeremy Kingsbury Pimer (Michelle) of Delaware. He was the cherished grandfather of six: Kaden, Jacob, Jaxon, Jacob, Charlotte, and Emily, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. Steven is also survived by his sister, Debra Shinn, of Pennsylvania.
An adventurous and spirited man, Steven found joy in racquetball, scuba diving, motorcycling, and the occasional trip to the casino. Despite his interests and pursuits, his greatest happiness was in the time spent with his family. Known for his firm but fair demeanor, he was a supportive, reliable, and caring presence in the lives of those who knew him.
A memorial service to honor Steven’s life will be held on January 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. The service will be officiated by Pastor Orland Collazo.
Steven’s life was one of quiet simplicity, marked by deep love and unwavering devotion to his family. He will be profoundly missed.
