My deepest sympathies to the Piver family. Steve was an incredible doctor to me and my mother. He was also a family friend, neighbor and such a pillar of the community. God Bless you Dr. Piver. You were a wonderful role model. I loved my Gyn/Onc rotation at RPMI, with you, even if it was in the summer and I never saw the light of day for two months. I strongly considered Gyn/Onc instead of MFM, but loved the babies more. So sorry to hear of Dr Piver's passing. I had the privilege of starting my nursing career at Roswell as a staff nurse on his inpatient unit. I know I became a better nurse because all I learned from him. Prayers for peace for his family and friends
