Dear Wendy,
We are shocked to hear of Steve's passing! Our hearts are broken for you and the girls!Steve was such a Mensch in every possible way!He was always so charming, witty, and down to earth when we visited !He helped Maja so much by sending her to Dr.Chang! We were so looking foward to going out to that local Italian restaurant with you guys!I had a very special bottle of Napa cabernet that I know Steve would have loved! We will miss him dearly!Thank...

Dear Wendy,
I hadn't seen Steven since my days in Camp Echo Lark, when I was 9 years old. Steve was the son of our family's
optomotrist, Mark. Our families used to get together in Brooklyn. I'm 73 years old and live in Scottsdale, AZ. I have two other brothers that remember Steve as well...Peter and Edgar. Thought it would cheer you up to hear from old friends.
Frederic Brown, Scottsdale,AZ

Dear Wendy and "offspring",
What a huge loss. What a beautiful and brilliant man. Dr. Podos was Danny's mentor extraordinaire, his go to person and someone who profoundly changed his and all of our lives. He will be deeply missed, always cherished and loved by us.
Our love to you and your family,
Patty and Danny Stegman

Dear Wendy
Our thoughts are with you. There are no words to express how much Steve's teaching and your family's friendship has meant to our family. It is way to soon for him to leave us.
The Dalys...Bob, Joan, Nick, Nora and Will

Dr. Podos was instrumental in all that I have learned in the speciality of glaucoma. I will always be indebted to his mentorship.

Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Dear Wendy and Family, We will all miss Steve and his warmth and intelligence. The many years of his service at the hospital made for a most desirable residency or fellowship and growth in the stature of our institution. As I wrote in 2005, "We can say au revoir, not goodbye, to one helluva guy!"

Dear Mrs. Podos & Family,
Dr. Podos was a great mentor to the residents. He paid special attention to us, and genuinely cared about our lives, education, and career. He listened to us, taught us, mentored us, and most importantly, cared about us. I will always remember his teachings. He will be greatly missed.
