Not sure what to say?

Steve Polan was a delightful human being. We met him and his wife, Betsey, at an art auction in Crested Butte where we vied for the same painting. He and Betsey won the painting but we won their friendship. He will be sorely missed in Crested Butte for his presence, his smile, his wisdom and love of the valley. Happy that he is with us here forever in the local cemetary. Our hearts go out to his wife and son.

Steve was a wonderful person who will be loved and missed always. It was a pleasure knowing him through the years at family get-togethers. He was warm, friendly, and well respected by all. Gd bless.

Single Memorial Tree

Very shocked and saddened to learn of Steve's passing. He did indeed have a fascinating life and career. My condolences to his family,

Please accept our sincere condolences for the Polan family. Steve was a valuable partner to the team at Flowbird and we are forever grateful for the professional guidance and recommendations he made to us. For those of us that had the privilege of calling him friend outside of work, we were humbled by his kindness and compassion to those around him. The loss of Steve will be felt by many.

From our first interaction, I was impressed by Steve's intelligence, straight talk and quick wit. A great loss in so many ways. My condolences to Steve's family and to all who relied on his many talents...

I was so sad to hear about cousin Steve's illness and passing. My heart goes out to Theo, Betsy, and Judy. Steve was always so kind and generous to me. I have many happy memories visiting him and his family in Manhattan as well as a couple of dinners we had with him here in San Diego. Judy's rendition of Into the Mystic is one of my favorite songs of all time. What a great song to go out with. RIP Steve. You are missed.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Steve. We were classmates at Slingerlands Elementary and graduated together from Bethlehem Central HS in 1969. He was intelligent, friendly, and kind. I enjoyed reconnecting with him at high school reunions. My sympathy to Elizabeth and Theodore, and his sister Judy. Judith Clark Aidala, friend

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
