Not sure what to say?

Steve was one of the best people I have ever known. He was honest, considerate, thoughtful and loyal. He always had your back when most people would not. A tough, strong and compassionate man. My life is immeasurably better for having known him as is Steve's community. I often think of him with his great sense of humor and his unbelievable dedication to always doing the right thing. He loved his family more than anything. He was an inspiration and still is.

I just learned about Steve's passing and am so sad to hear about it. What a loss to the greater Bay area community! Steve worked in partnership with the Center for Civil Justice and the Agencies and Community Concerned with Self-Suffiency (ACCESS) group for many years. Such an honorable man. A great loss for us, but a gain for heaven.

Barb and family, I am so sorry to hear that you and our community has lost a great man. If it weren't for him and Julian, I would not have gotten involved with the United Way and spent several years serving our community. I will not forget what a great man he was. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God Bless.

To all Steve's family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of knowing Steve for many years through United Way and Labor Union. I have never met a man who had such a big heart and cared for so many. I remember sharing stories of our family camping trips and laughing at trailer issues! I remember him talking so highly of his family. He will be deeply missed by all.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!! Heaven has another angel.

Barb,

So sorry for your loss. Steve was a wonderful man and he will be missed by so many. My prayers for you and your family.

Barb, I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I only met him a few times, but knowing what a wonderful person you are, I know he had to be a very loving and caring person. My sympathy to you and your family.
