Dear Ranel and family
How hearts are heavy and filled with sadness of the passing of my cousin Steven. We started grade school together. He was my support team and I was his. When I was told that he was very sick, I immediately called him and we took a walk back in time. We laughed and experienced a magical reunion of the past. He told me of the love he had for you Ranel. Love like no other. I pray for you and your family that you will all find peace in this rough time and will once...

Was so sorry to hear of the loss of Steve. He, of course, will always be remembered for his outstanding voice. Those who knew him better than I did will feel the loss in a greater way. But our family seems to be losing so many at this time. Thoughts and prayers going out to his close family and friends ❤.

Steve was a dear friend and long term fellow band member with Larraine and Doug and I. What a voice, but more than that, what a guy. Even after the band years he continued to bless me with his friendship. He often sent me Christmas greetings with hisclaters recordings attached and for several years welcomed Sandy and I into his home an recording studio where with Chelsea and Larraine s help produced a series of girl's camp songs that I had written. Regrettably my Mayor's responsibilities...

So sorry for your loss. I remember many, many years ago when Steve made a small documentary movie of Great Gandpa James Reed. I played the character of Grandpa Reed in the film. This was a project from the Ririe ward young men at the time. A wonderful memory that was documented by Steve. He also sang at my mission farewell so many years ago. I have always loved listening to him sing. God bless you all. What a wonderful family to belong to.

Renel, I’m sorry that Steve has passed away. He was such a good man. He was so kind and if anyone needed help he never hesitated to help them. I spent many years with Steve in our Ririe 2nd Ward, him leading the music and me playing the organ. Also our group, “Touch of Class” spent many years singing together and performing at many different occasions. We spent a lot of time at Steve’s studio either practicing or recording our music. Steve was so good to let us use his studio and make us CD’s...

Dear Ranel and Family - Zoanne and I were very sad to hear of Steve's passing. We had hope of a better outcome as he has been in our daily prayers since we learned of his cancer. Now our prayers are for you and you family as you all adjust to a new reality which is not new to you or us. The only hope we have learned to hold is to trust in the Lord and the comfort that comes thru the Holy Spirit. We know, as you know, how hard it is to deal with the loss of someone dear to us, but time...
