STEVEN REEVES

REEVES, Steven Warren, 86, of Henrico County, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2009. He was born in Independence, Va. Steven is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Jessie Reeves; son, Rod Reeves; niece, Elizabeth Owens; nephew, David Moxley; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and good friends, Wayne and Cindy Campbell. Steven retired from Allied Chemical with 35 years of service, and was a 38 year member of the American Legion Post 284 in Colonial Heights. He was a WWII veteran serving in the European Theater. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2009 at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Amelia Veterans Cemetery, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Crippled Children's Hospital, 2924 Brook Road, Richmond, Va. 23220-1298.
