Steven Risner Obituary
September 14, 1967 - August 25, 2021
San Jose, California - We Salute you, Steven Eric Risner aka "Rise".
In this life Steve stood up and could be counted upon by all who met him. He was loyal, true and genuine to a fault. Where ever you were was the place to be – whether it was Modesto, San Francisco, or Japan. Steve made it cooler by showing up.
Born in Modesto, CA on September 14, 1967, Steve started life with a smile brighter than a thousand suns. From Beyer High School to SFSU and Sigma Phi Epsilon, he brought people together thru his enthusiasm for a life lived to the fullest.
Steve loved Heavy Metal just as much as he loved his motorcycle. He rocked the decks around the city as DJ Rise and rode to Sturgis with his brothers in arms.
He loved all Motorsports, the Giants, Forty-Niners and pepperoni pizza.
Steve is survived by his sister, Robin Risner ; nephew, Jeremy Wyeth; and incredibly the band Motley Crue.
Hail, Hail to the good times.

DJ Rise...Thank you for making so much music happen. For being a brother-in-arms with The Pope, The Violet Fox Band and fellow student at San Francisco State in the late '80's. Heaven is most certainly rocking tonight - you will be certain of that.
