Not sure what to say?

This guy was not just a brilliant mind, but very talented as well.

He was my doctor in '03 and '04 when i had lost my wife and children to a cult. It was grim and grimmer. We dealt with the stark reality. Barely survived it. One thing i knew was not going to blow smoke so to speak.

His death has been very tough.

I'm a former patient of Dr. Sacks and I do remember his dry wit. After he retired, I didn't keep in touch - it's not the done thing for patients and their former docs to do that. But I've always remembered him and his kindness as well as his beloved chihuahuas, Peligro and Cecilia. It was a news article recently that made me look up Dr. Sacks and I was saddened to hear that he'd died. For his friends Judy T. and Pat L. I'm sorry for the loss of your dear colleague and beloved friend.

Thank you! You have no idea! God does

Steven was a character and he enjoyed life. He was as fine a friend as anybody could ever ask for. His compassion and willingness to do for others is his finest legacy. There are many people he touched financially, personally, and spiritually that will continue to spread the joy he gave to them.

Our family will never forget him and will always keep him in our prayers.

Eric Talley and family.

SOME SAY THERE ARE NO ANGELS

I have always loved Steve, filled with wit, laughter and compassion for his fellow man. Our Vermont days will forever be filled with memories of days at the Farm in Richmond to his abode in Montpilier. My heart aches yet I will remember Doc for the Joy he brought to this world. I look forward to a meeting with him to get caught up. Until then God bless and Peace be with you all.

What sad, sad news. Pat and Judy our sincere condolences. What a lose to everyone he was indeed a gem!

Sad to hear of the Dr's passing. I knew him from parties and get togethers in Vermont. Loved his quick wit and sarcasm. Condolences to his family and friends.

Our deeply felt love and condolences are offered to Judy Butler Talley and Pat Laurenzano. We were not privileged to know Steve Sacks, but he is known to us by the company he kept.

We are sorry we lost the chance to know Steve directly.
