Not sure what to say?

I will never forget presenting research to Dr Sahn when I was a Fellow in 1995. He was so encouraging to me. The effect that has on a young doctor is tremendous. I know Steve had the same effect on thousands of young doctors. He will be so missed. I practice Pulmonary Medicine today in the shadow of Dr Sahn.

Steven Sahn was and is a giant in the medical world upon whose shoulders so many of us who he trained stand when we practice medicine. You can't replace him, you can only hope to emulate him in some small way.

It is problematic to put into words the influence that Steve had on my life and career. He was a dear friend. He is more responsible for my career success than any other person. I miss you, Steve.

My condolences. I was so sorry to hear about Dr. Sahn. He was a very kind person and a good friend.
May there be comfort in knowing that he touched so many lives and will never be forgotten.

Our deepest condolences to the entire Sahn family. Dr Sahn's legacy will survive into perpetuity. He was a brilliant clinician, fiercely competitive, and driven to succeed; however, his greatest attribute (among the plethora that he had) was his passion for life (his family, medicine, and his beloved sports teams). He made all of us not just better doctors, but, more importantly, better people. He helped greatly shape the evolution of my soul, and he will never be forgotten. Although he...

So very sorry for your loss Claire. May God comfort you and your family at this difficult time.

Claire, I am thinking of you as you are grieving the loss of your special husband. He sounds like he was an exceptional Doctor and I wish that would have known him. May your wonderful memories of Steven bring you peace during this difficult time.

It was a pleasure to work with Dr. Sahn, and he provided excellent care to my mother. He will be missed.

Claire,

What an honor it has been to have known Steve! I especially appreciate the relationship he and Julie forged as there were likely not many who could have performed to his expectations. They were definitely a pair! His passion for his work will forever be etched in my memory. There are many good ones but the great are few and far between. Steve was great! My love to you and yours!
