Not sure what to say?

'Very sorry to hear - I had been thinking of Steve recently, when Pope Benedict visited Washington DC, as I remember being about 12 yrs old when Pope John Paul came to DC, and, Steve made the trip up here to see him - We all went downtown, and, I remember the Pope coming out on a balcony.

We were so sorry to hear about Steve. He was a lifelong friend to our family. Bela and Steve (and Ivan Vydareny) were friends from Budapest in 1956: 60+ years. Pauline and Bela met through Nancy and Steve. Steve was Andrea's Godfather. Our thoughts are with his family during this sad time.

I am sadden to read of Steve's death. We were classmates at both Lynchburg College and Virginia Tech. I also lived for a while in one of his and Penelope's houses on Harrison Street. He was interesting to talk to, kind, considerate, and I considered him a good friend. I send my condolences to his family.
