Not sure what to say?

Is this Steven Slagan the doctor who I taught how to play the guitar back in the 60's at Karnes Music company in about Niles Illinois. Steve was a great guy and he even bought one of my favorite guitars. Please let me know if this is correct. So sad to hear that about Steve.

Just found out about Steve's passing. Great doctor and friend. Gave me hope when everyone said my dad wouldn't make it well he did. Doctor to my mom, dad, myself & family. Took time to listen and didn't rush. I had a problem for a while and went to a lot of doctors. They couldn't figure it out but one long and in depth visit with him and was diagnosed and treated. Thank you so much. I thought for sure I was dying. Worked for him and no matter how late it was he stayed till all visits and...

I just heard of Steve's passing today. Steve and I trained together at MacNeal back in 1982, and enjoyed a long and wonderful friendship over the years. My heart goes out to his family. Rest in peace, Steve.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Salgan ...
He will always be Dr. Steve to me as he insisted I call him that, great memory.

Rest in Peace Dr. Steve ...
Thank you for your kindness and caring.

RIP... Dr Salgan

To my Doctor...but more importantly my dearest friend. My heart breaks every time i think of you being gone.I will miss you forever. Our long talks, your heartfelt words of wisdom, our
many years of friendship will never be forgotten.Gone from this world far to soon.My sincerest sympathies to the family and friends in mourning. Forever in my heart...

I knew Steve over 30 years. Smart man, decent man. Most people that are MD's are very aloof. Not him.He could talk to a Doctor a Professional and the average guy on the street, he talked to everyone the same way. Never did he make you feel like you were not on his level. Good guy, he is already missed.

Sorry you left us my friend.

Dave and Marybelle Mandel and family.

I knew Steve in High School. He was in most of my classes. He was always a good guy.RIP Steve.
