As you and your children are going through this journey without him, I hope they found peace and remember the joyful days you had to share with Steve. Love you very much

Nancy I am very sorry to hear about the death of your husband Steve. This is so sad. He was so young. I know your family will be a great comfort to you. Your friends are here for you too. Love Alayne Fitzpatrick

While I did not have the privilege of meeting him personally, over the many years I've known his son Steve, there were plenty of stories that were shared about the family and Steven specifically. Through those stories I got a good sense of his character along with his dedication and love for his family. I hope that you can all find comfort in this difficult time in the many genuine, true and kind words of Steve. My deepest condolences to the Schoener family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Nancy and the extended Schoener family.

Those of us in Steve's "Lawrence family" will remember his genuine humility and sense of humor during our time working together. Like so many others, we are saddened by his passing.

I did not know Steven personally but I do know his son Steve. My condolences to you for the passing of your father. There are no words that can console anyone during this time. I am sure you who you are because of the values your father had. Please extend my sympathy to your mom and the rest of your family.

Years ago I ran out of gas on the highway and a kind man stopped to help me. It was Steve. He stopped to help not knowing it was someone he knew. His kindness will never be forgotten.
My condolences to his family.
