Not sure what to say?

I literally just learned of Steve's passing while in a deposition. I am just devastated to hear this news. Steve helped me understand so much about accident reconstruction. He was an amazing person and expert who was able to explain such complicated matters to me in the way I needed to learn. I am simply heartbroken and so sorry to his family both at home and at work.

With deepest sympathy,

Jody A. Mooney

Joy, We have never met, but I feel I know you and your children from my conversations with Steve. I just received notice of this very sad news this morning by e-mail from DJS. My condolences go out to you and your children, as well as Steve's entire family, for this devastating loss. I am repeating what others have already said, and what you already know, when I tell you that the world has lost a beautiful man. I met Steve as an attorney who sought him out for his immense knowledge and...

The world lost a true gentleman and scholar of high integrity. May his legacy continue for those whose lives he has touched.
My sincere condolences. I cannot imagine the gravity of your loss.
May his life be a blessing and his memory provide his family and loved ones the strength to carry on as he would expect.
Steve was a pleasure to work with and I believe that lawyers on both sides of the aisle would endorse this sentiment.

As like Steven Rickard, Steve and I were always on opposite sides, but I considered him my colleague nonetheless. I used to tell folks Steve and I were like the sheepdog and wolf in the cartoons: Good morning Ralph; good morning Fred--then they'd fight all day. At the end of the day, it was Good night Ralph, see you tomorrow; good night Fred, see you tomorrow...

I was saddened to hear of Steve's passing. Please accept my condolences on your loss...

I was so saddened to hear the news of Steve's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathies! Steve was a consummate professional, but more importantly, he had a zest for life and love of family that was second to none. I worked with him on several cases over the years, and almost every time we spoke, he talked about his family. I will always remember him for his infectious personality and willingness to go above beyond the call of duty to help his clients. He will be dearly missed!

Although Steve & I were often on different sides, I never not considered him a friend.

I will miss arguing with him.

If there is anything I can ever do for you, I would be disappointed if you didn't ask.

Any of the guys (Scott, Terry or Pete) know how to make contact with me.

So sorry for your loss,

Steve Rickard

Dave and Beverly,
Our deepest condolences on the loss of Steven.

The warmth from your Grandchildren that spoke at the funeral was most moving.

Our sincerest sympathy,

Marge, Ron Pollock
