I'm so sorry we weren't able to make it to the visitation as I work evenings.
Your dad was a great guy and always enjoyed running into him at Menards.
Hugs to you all.

There are a lot of memories wrapped up in this obit and it's so well written. Steve's enthusiasm for life was second to none and it's with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the world losing such a vibrant and loving soul. Jonathan, may you and your family find peace here on earth as Steve and Jill watch from above with joyful smiles.
Attached is a photo Mom sent me to share with all. I think it captures Steve's presence well.

I’ve known Steve for over 30 years and he has been a delightful friend and traveling companion. He was the most upbeat and happy guy I think I have ever known. He was taken much too soon and is dearly missed.

Steve, was not just a friend. Steve was family. We all loved him and enjoyed his zest for life. He always was smiling and laughing. He was so much fun when he was around. We have missed him dearly.
Steve left this world much too early in his life. We will never forget our memories we shared with Steve. Our condolences to you and your family.

Jon,
What a challenging year. I’m glad you are now able to honor your father in his death, even as you brought joy and honor to him and your mother in life. In reading the obituary I learned so much more about him and found myself smiling...and for him to be a witness of those amazing games 6 and 7 of both WS...did he suffer permanent hearing damage?!
I remember you and your family fondly and hope to see you in a couple of weeks.
Much love to you all.
