I rode many a mile across Iowa with Sprint and the Sprinters, (1978- 1994). Fittingly, the last time we saw Steve was at the Spinter's 45th anniversary party in Washington, Iowa. We shared memories, photos and many laughs. He will be missed. We send you our condolences.Tom Stone

I had the pleasure of getting to know Steve a little while working at REM. He was an amazing man, and it was obviously cared deeply for those he helped. He will be greatly missed by all of us at REM. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
