Not sure what to say?

I only knew Steve from S&S where his kindness and laughter were ever present. He was so helpful. I am sad at the news of his passing.

Jean, Tommy, Shannon and Lu; I have a difficult time putting into words what the loss of Steve has meant to me and Judy. Steve was always there for us and we miss him very much. He was and is my best friend. We will always remember the fun trips we took especially the motor home trip and the trip to Hawaii. We love you and we will help each other through this.

Dear Mrs. Settles,

Since my Father died 7 years ago, Steve has been a great source for advice with items related to cars for my Mother and I. Not only did I call him with questions, but Mom would stop at S & S if she was concerned about a low tire or a strange noise. Steve would always take time to check the tire or whatever and put her mind at ease. When I called S & S today with a question I was shocked to hear of his passing. He had become a good friend and we will miss him....

Everyone at Waffle House on Richmond Rd was sorry to hear about Steve. He was a kind and fun person and we will miss not seeing him there in the mornings.

Jean,Tommy and Shannon, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, especially at this holiday season. A good friend will be missed.

I sorry to hear about steve. I out of town and just heard.

Tommy, Shannon and Lu,
We are so sorry to hear about this loss for you. We pray that you have the understanding where one goes when putting their faith and trust in Almighty God. We feel your loss as well from mother's (Opal) passsing 1 1/2 years ago and it's still very hard at times. But we love our Lord who gives us the strength to carry on. God bless you all during this time. Praying for you and family.

It broke our hearts and we will miss him always, but GOD is with him now and He has that Smile on his face right now like He always had. We love you all

Jean, Shannon and Tommy,
We truly loved Steve and we know how much he will be missed. The stories that will surface about his kindness could fill a 500 page book. How he loved David and messed with him in church. Our hearts are sad for you all, but the memories everyone has for him will make us always smile. We love you all very much!!!!!
