Steven M. Sheckler

To the Sheckler family,

I'm very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Shecky for 5 years in the proposal development group. He always made me laugh. As was stated in many of these entries, he was a very lovable guy and his habish and kabish stories were enjoyed with as much gusto as they were delivered with.
He will be missed.

Dear Mrs. Sheckler, and family,

I want to extend my condolences at your loss. From having worked and traveled with Steve I got to know a person who lived life with zest and was loved by all. I can not tell you the number of time that I have told others of his great achievements . It is my pleasure to have known him. His memory will live on forever.

Dear Sheckler Family:

I spent some time sitting across from Steve's office. We had many conversations about the "good old" days at Combustion. He always had a funny story to tell. It's hard to believe he is no longer with us, I will miss seeing him at work. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Dear Pat and Eric.
I'm sure that you don't remember me, but Steve is someone I will never forget. He and I played softball together for a number of years for the Italian American Club in Windsor Locks. Steve was a great man to have on our team. His humor was undiscribeable. Of course the setback games afterwards were also great. It was a tremendous shock to Bev and I to read of his passing. Steve will be missed by many.

Dear Patti and Family

Shecky will be sorely missed not only by his family at home but also his family at work. Steve was a big presence both physically and emotionally for all of us here at Alstom. He had a zest for life you do not often see and we will all be poorer without him. No one who knew Shecky will forget him.

Mrs. Sheckler and family,

I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I first met "Sheckie" at C-E way back in 1972. We played many, many softball games together after he transferred to the accounting department. He was a good person who never seemed to get mad. I will miss him as all the other "Gross Profits" will.

Dear Patty, Eric & all who loved him; Big Steve was more than just an uncle, he was like a father figure, who loved everyone and everything.
