Not sure what to say?

This is Nancy Montgomery. My son Robbie and I were patients of Dr. Shindler for many years. He was the perfect brilliant, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor--a consummate expert professional. But what I most remember is his unique and unforgettable personality. My husband had left us and we were bereft. Dr. Shindler was so kind and caring to my young son, he talked to him and encouraged him, he was very positive with us, and also so very witty and funny when it was appropriate. He was...

The ultimate family man, Cousin Steve always bursted with pride for his wonderful wife and 3 amazing children, his outstanding son-in-law, and his precious granddaughter, Adora. I know I speak for all the Dorfman cousins from Maryland when I say that we have such fond memories of time spent with the Shindlers. Bar- and bat- mitzvahs, a B´not Mitzvah, holidays spent together, just-because visits, and always fun times all around - there was instant family chemistry. Goofiness, love, and...

Sorry for your loss Steven was a friend, classmate, colleague and a great husband and father- he will be missed by many!!

My sincere condolences to the Shindler family. I use to work for him and Dr Kravitz in the 80´s on summer street. Francine Roberts

Sending condolences on the loss of your beloved Steven.

Sending hugs to the entire Schindler family. May you be comforted and find strength in the memories of the meaningful and wonderful moments you had together. Steven has created a lasting and incredible legacy in Kyle, Farrah, Arlel and little Adora Mae. I´ll always remember his humor and the times we visited y´all in CT!

Karen and family, We are so very saddened by the loss of the Doc. He was the only podiatrist that was ever able to help me. With a huge smile and a lovely family story. May his trip be quick and please know he will always be looking out for the ones he loved. I'll see you at your office when my time comes because I know you can't sit still. All our love to you. Fred still and will always ware his tie bar proudly

Karen, Farrah, Ariel, & Kyle, I am so saddened by the passing of Steve. It was truly a joy to be one of his "extended family members". I remember the first day I met him in NY, when Scott was marrying into the Dienstag family, he thought it was truly funny knowing that he would have relatives in Atlanta, GA. He would start or end my conversations with "Ya'll", a southern greeting. I will truly miss him! May his memories be a blessing to all! Love Roberta
