Not sure what to say?

I am the son of Randy jones, also one of the founding members of the Christian Bass Anglers. my name is David jones. i had the oppourtunity to fish with Mr. Shirly on mulitple ocasions and it is sad to see him go. he truely touched me and taught me many great things on those trips. i am a better person and fisherman for knowing him

Nancy,

Steve will be truly missed. He was an amazing gentleman and one of the most fund and caring people I have ever worked with or called a friend. I am very sorry for your loss.

Nancy - I saw the prayer request for Steve from via de Cristo. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember you from Messiah and you and Steve both made an impression on me as a young mother and new member to the Congregation. May God grant you peace during this time.

I didn't work with Steve very closely, but enough to know that it was a privilege when I did, that there aren't enough fine men like him, that he was a man of impressive character, and that he loved his family very deeply. While he left this world too soon, it was not so soon that he didn't leave lasting impressions... and that... is a gift... to us all.

There is nowhere a land so fair
where now is found Steve;
So full of song so free of care,
it embraces dear...

Nancy,

We are so sorry to hear about Steven in losing his battle with cancer this weekend. We know he put up a brave fight and just want you to know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Your neighbors, Tom and Jeanne Harman

Nancy, You and your family are in our prayers. We have been thinking about you all so much and will continue to pray for you and your children in the weeks to come.

What a great guy. During a Scouts' fund raising kickoff, Steve's testimonial was one for the ages. I'll remember Steve with words like grace and dignity. What a great, great person.

Steve was a fun and inspiring co-worker at Ahold. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Fondly recalling memories from many years ago when we all got together for "Supper Club". Steve always had such humorous stories to share with us. Our prayers to Nancy and the family.
