Steven G. Sliney

I remember Steve the most for his outstanding ability to play practical jokes on people. In spite of everyone knowing this ability, he was still able to "getcha"! He had an amazing talent and just enjoyed himself so much. When I think of Steve, I will always smile. He truely left his mark on this world; another special talent. We will miss him.

We were fortunate to have met Steve in the Wednesday night card league at the Greenwich Club. His sense of humor made you laugh even if you were losing! I know you will be missed by many Steve and the card league won't be the same without you.

So sorry for a life cut short. Please know that you made a difference in this world with your smile, laugh and compassion.

Steve was a cousin, I remember.. in
grade school (oakland beach)..a bully approched me and a friend(bully alot bigger)...friend said.."this guys a cousin of Stevie Sliney".bully asked "that true?" "yes"..I replied.bully walked off,sayin.."well...im gonna ,,bother someone else ..then. I dont want no trouble with him". Stevie..i'll miss you, tough guy.

I have known Stevie since we were kids in Oakland Beach. My husband knew him from the time we lived on Horseneck Road. Stevie always had a smile on his face and he will be sadly missed. We send you our deepest sympathy.

I GREW UP WITH STEVE, I HAVE A LOT OF GREAT MEMORIES.I AM SORRY FOR YOU LOSS.

OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY, STEVE WAS A LONG OLD TIME FRIEND. HE WOULD COME BY THE DEALERSHIP AND JOKE ABOUT THAT HE JUST CAME FROM THE GYM AND WORKING OUT WITH THE BAG. ALWAYS WITH A BIG SMILE......

Steve was a great friend with wonderful humor. Whenever it snows I will be reminded of how Steve would call me and ask "are you working?" I will always remember him with love in my heart.
