Unfortunately we didn´t know each other terribly well. Regardless, each time we saw each other, you always displayed a tremendous amount of warmth and passion for talking music... not more than two months ago, you let me play one of your guitars... That is a memory of you that I will always cherish. Rest in peace my friend... I hope you find the solace that you´ve been looking for.

We shared the stage for your final song, brother. I would have extended it had I known it would be your last. I'll miss rocking and hanging with you. Sorry life was shorter than you planned. Hoping the angels are all ready to rock with you. Thanks for being my friend. Much love and peace to you, your Mom and Dad, your family, and your friends. Bless you, Smitty.
