Not sure what to say?

My dear Gayle. I was so saddened to hear of Steve's death. He was bigger than life to me as I started my career at the very special I.Magnin. His kindness was appearent in all he did, through his work, his friends, and of course, his beloved family.
All my love and thoughts.

Dear Somers family,
I have wonderful memories of Mr. Somers. He gave me my first Buying job. I will never forget it. I am a college teacher now and I often tell the students about my wonderful experience at I.Magnin. (1976-1983) I am thinking of you and your entire family at this time. My mother suffered with Parkinson's Disease for 7 years. She passed away in 1999. I am honored to have worked for such a wonderful man.

Dear Gayle,
I am so sad to hear of Steve's passing. I worked for I. Magnin for 21 fabulous years and had the privilege of working with Steve as our CEO. Your family is in my prayers. He was a very inpspirational leader .

Dear Gayle,
I can only reinforce the sentiments that others have expressed that Steve was a very positive force for so many of us at critical points in our early careers at I. Magnin. None of us will ever forget those days or our memories of Steve.

Dear Somers Family,
I remember Steve from I. Magnin. He brought such a new leadership style and energy to the store. To this day I smile and remember Steve each time I use an expression he taught me - "today a peacock, tomorrow a feather duster" .

My prayers are with you.

Dear Gayle and family, I was in my 20's
when I worked for I.Magnin. It was my first real job. I will never forget my first meeting with Steve. He was sitting in the crazy chair that was supposed to help his back and I was very nervous. He had a kind manner that was so reassuring. By the time the meeting was over I was no longer nervous.

Dear Gayle and family, I also worked at I. Magnin for many years with Steve,it was a very special time with very special people, it was like a family, I am deeply sorry for your loss,I have just learned of his passing. He was a very special person.

Dear Gayle and family,
I also worked at I Magnin when Steve was there. Just wanted to tell you that I are thinking of you and your family at this time. I have such great memories of that special time in my career with a group of dedicated and talented people. Steve was such a passionate leader. Sincerely, Joan Maxwell

Dear Gayle,
After you called, yesterday I reflected on all the wonderful memories I have of Steve. He was such a wonderful mentor to me as I was making my way through the retail business. For that, I will be forever grateful. I am so honored to have worked with him. Sincerely, Margot Kaufman
