STEVEN ROBERT SORDS

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing.

I was so grateful for the kind words he spoke at Mike's memorial service.

Steve was a kind and generous man and will be missed by many.

To the entire Sords' Family I extend my

Very sad to hear of Steve's passing. We had some great time together back in High school. Steve was a great guy and a great friend.

My thoughts have been with all of Steve's family since I heard. I always picture
Steve (I always start to say "Stevie", the same way you folks want to call me "Billy")with that amazing smile. His warmth and energy will be missed around Lake Penage. Bill(y) Povolny

Steve was incredibly kind to me, during some very difficult years (high school). I have never forgotten that. I have him in mind when I am mentoring someone about the gifts of acceptance, and kindness for the sake of kindness. I am so sad that such a bright soul is gone. I have not met his children, nor spoken with him since 1981, but I carry his joyful and loving heart with me, always.

The world has lost a great soul. The King of Flatfish will not be soon forgotten. Please accept our condolences from Jonathan, Beth, Sarah Beth, and Amy.

It was with profound sadness that I heard about Steve's passing. Steve was one of a kind and brought great joy to everything he did, and while I have not seen him in many years, it is the fond memories of going through SHHS together and the fun times we had during our college years that I will never forget. Steve, rest in peace - you will be missed and to the entire Sords family (Ginny, Katy, Guy, Paul, Erik, Peter, Sammy, and Ann), please accept my deepest condolences.
