Not sure what to say?

It's been six years now and I still can't believe that he's gone. His smile and hearty laugh always brightened my day. We grew up in law enforcement together,....I still miss him everyday. My sympathies to his multitude of friends and his lovely family

Dear Steve's Family,

I am so sorry to hear that Steve has passed away. He used to work for my parents at Brooks' Drive In Restaurant in Wooster back in the 70's. He was such a fun-loving guy. I had so much fun with him as a teenager. He taught me a lot about life; we had a lot of great talks.

I am sure he will be missed by so many people. Please know that he touched our family in a very special way.

My deepest sympathy to all of you,
Deann (Brooks) Markle

To the entire Staley Family..... Sorry to hear of Steve's passing.......I worked with him at Smith Dairy in the late 70s......also bought a 1976 Oldsmobile from him....enjoyed working with him.

Steve was a great person and friend. He was always willing to offer his advice when I was a young officer. His service to us all is commendable!

We are so sorry for your loss. We have so many precious memories of our friends back in the 'Burg. May God bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Staley family through this difficult time. I am truly sorry for this loss of a true loved one.

All our love and prayers to Michelle and her family during this difficult time.

Steve and I graduated from the 104th class together. He was always fun to be around and would cheer you up during the long weeks. Everytime we would meet after that, he never changed and was always a great guy. I am very sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed by all of us that knew him.

Steve was a great trooper and K-9 handler. I was on the first TDIT team on the turnpike and he and Orkan were known all over the state. My condolences to your family.
