Not sure what to say?

Seems like a century ago, but I worked with Steve at Imperial Savings in Hanford around 1979-1981. I remember him as the happiest, friendly and funny guy to work beside on the teller line. He always had that smile... The best to the family... he must have been the best father and grandfather ever.

Thanks to all who were kind enough to send your thoughts and prayers in memory of Steven Stone. It is gratifying to hear so many positive things about our #3 son.

When stacked against people who owned more worldly possessions than Steven there is no comparison. I like to think he was building treasures in the context of friendships, good deeds and acts of kindness. Thank you for being a friend to my son.

We all met Steve out at the ranch, automaticaly we liked him, what a guy. Always singing & so up & happy w/ his dog Misha stiched at his hip. If it got too hot you could always find Steve & Misha taking a dip together in the canal. They were best of buds.
Steve always had a prank in his back pocket just waiting to pullit out on anyone who walked in first, made you roll over w/ laughter for days.We all knew thenhe was our kind of people, You know "Family".
Racing was the ultimate,...

"Almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It's getting’ kinda long, I coulda said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly"

Those lyrics from a song by Crosby Stills and Nash always remind me of Steve. He did finally cut his hair. He looked more handsome than ever with it short. But when Steve cut his hair, all of us who grew up LIVING episodes of “That 70’s Show” were forced to admit that we now had more in...

I was totally shocked when I heard that Stoney had passed on. I knew him very well we worked together for about four years. We had alot of good times after work and also at work. We enjoyed singing to the radio even though there were the people that did not enjoy us. We went through some bad times also, but between the two of us we got through them. I will truly miss my very close friend in the years to come. I offer my condolences to his remaining family members through this tough time.

I was shocked to read about Steven's passing. I have a few memories of him when we were going to Woodrow Wilson School. I will share one. I remember in the Fourth grade Mrs. Rice was our teacher and she was preparing for the Christmas program. All the students had to stand in front of the black board and sing as a group. She then walked in front of each of us, listening individually to our singing. Steve's singing really surprised her and she complimented him. He sang a short solo for the...

The planet is a little worse off today with the loss of steve. I remember Steve from when we were kids growing up by the Selma Hospital and then later in life as our class president (Class of 75).I remember some of the funny and silly stuff we pulled as kids and teenagers. He was always up for a good laugh. The last time I saw him a few years back and we had a nice conversation. My sympathys go out to the family, friends and loved ones of steve.

I was one of many of a brood of children that were fortunate enough to have the Stones as extended family. My godparents are actually Marcella and Larry and I was the "little sister" actually watching all of the antics that the "big kids" got into. Needless to say, Steve was usually at the front of the pack leading the fun. I will always remember his tossling my hair and calling me "Kiddo". Rest in peace Steven, you will be sorely missed by all of those who loved you!
