Not sure what to say?

A truly wonderful, honorable man who loved life, his family, his goldens and everything he did. For one of my Suburbans that came with bucket seats, he said the only way to see if it would work with my labs would be to "bring the children" and see. He ended up doing a vehicle swap for me so my 'babies' could have their bench seat. I am blessed to have known him, and I cherish all of the photos I have of him delivering vehicles to my sons. He was always so fun to talk to, and he made car...

My prayers are with you and your family and hope 2015 brings a much better and Blessed year. I am your Moms niece. Dorothy Stas's daughter.
Prayers and blessings

Dear Kate,
I recently moved back to the DFW area. I was shocked and saddened to hear about Steve. He played an important role in my life not only as my flight instructor but is my friend. I will miss him and hope the best for you and Megan. God bless the both of you.

Although I didn't know Steven, from what I am reading on this post, he was a wonderful person, very talented and such a joy to be around. I wish I could have met him. My families prayers are still with you and your family. God Bless You ..

Dear Kate,

I was very saddened to learn of Steve's passing. He was my flight instructor in the early 90's out of Addison. He not only taught me to fly - including my instrument rating - but he taught me what I needed to know to for all eventualities. In fact, in an engine out situation, Steve's words came to me (no doubt because he drilled them into me over and over again) and saved my life (and those of my passengers as well)!

I know how much he loved you and Megan - he...

Kate and Megan you were blessed to share Steve for the time God gave you as was I. He was my teacher in every hobby we shared. He was a great pilot and flight instructor. I did't hear, "I've got the plane" too many times. I was "Junior" and Eugene was "Dancin' Machine" and we always picked up breakfast at Benedict's after our early morning lessons for "debriefing". My guess was always it was just a great breakfast spot and we all loved it. And of course he was the only reason I can hit a...

Kate, you and Megan are in my thoughts and prayers.

Kate and Megan
Steve was such a wonderful, truly honorable, joyful man. I will always remember when he told me about building Megan's rocking horse when she was born. He was so proud! Hold on to those great memories.
You will be in my prayers
