Not sure what to say?

He failed me on my green belt test because I was not ready. When I retested months later I had grown so much because he had inspired me. He told me after the test that he was so happy to see what I had done and how much better I'd become. The world could use more like him. He had integrity and commitment and inspired that in others. Thank you Sensei. Your lessons live on.

Dennis, Cathy et al thank you!

Steve was one of my closest friends. Even though we were many miles apart we were still side by side. He was the kindest most soft hearted man I've ever known. I still think of him and miss him. A great martial artist who believe in treating everyone with respect. I will miss him till the day we are side by side again.

Words cannot express my friendship with Mr. Steve Tomko. I hold the highest respect for this man and his family and beliefs. I was blessed the day Steve stepped into my world. He came as an older gentlemen seeking employment in my Landscape company around spring 2000 or 2001. I was young 30 ish and I thought this guy won't be able to keep up. Well my heart on my sleeve and my foot in my mouth this guy was for real! we were a team, he was immersed in me, my family and my business. Soon my son...

I love and miss you Sensei.....James

Betty Lou, I was reminiscing the other day about Steve and searched for him online in hopes of maybe going fishing together and remembering our mutual friend John Ayello. I am so saddened to learn of his passing. I pray that God gives you strength especially at this time of the year. Take comfort in knowing that you will see him again in Jesus' presence where he waits for you and he and John are fishing with Christ. God Bless you! Tom Zelinsky 570 205 8457.

Sensei, I can't believe you're gone. I will cherish the memories and everything you have taught me. I have had to use my training in the past and it saved my life. Thank you...

This is the first I have been able to compose myself to write a few words about the love of my life for 43 years. He was a devoted husband, father & friend. A Godly, romantic, compassionate & loyal man who I will be lost without until we can be together again forever. My love is kept in my heart until our reunion day. Miss you so much my love. I feel that you are watching over me & will keep me safe.
Forever & ever your loving wife Betty Lou
