Steven Troyer

I met Steve back in 2002 through work and today I went onto Google because I was thinking about people from my past and hoping to reconnect with him. Seeing this obituary took my breath away. At the time when I met Steve I was in a very dark place and trying to dig my way out. Steve was one of the few beams of sunshine in my life at that time. That man could make me laugh like never before. He was also my rescuer/hero. I managed to get myself stranded in Crystal River, Florida. Crystal River...

To the Troyer family: I am so thankful I met Steve. He was my buddy. We spent many hours together. Mostly talking and laughing. He was humble and kind. One of the best people the Lord ever put in my life. You raised a wonderful person. I miss him. Our faith is strong. We will meet Steve again in heaven. God bless you. The Noretto family

My sympathies to all of Steve's family and friends. I attended Malone College with him, and fondly remember his warmth, his energy, and his great sense of humor. I hope similar memories will support his loved ones in this difficult time.
