Dear friend, I have been looking for you for the last ten years. You were such a good friend, confidante and inspiration as an artist. I knew Steve in Nederland, Colorado in the late 1990s, but lost touch with him when he moved to New Mexico. Yesterday I found an old postcard from Steve and decided to look him up on the internet again, see if I could locate him. Very sad and disappointed to see that he has passed from this earth. I know that his gentle, brilliant spirit flies high and free....

I am so sad to learn of this, as he and I were very close during the Paw Paw years, we even shared a home together with our beloved friend John Fake,who has passed as well.I hope to learn of his memorial service and attend in honor of him and celebrate his life with friends and family!
