Not sure what to say?

I will always love and remember Steve. His smile, his genuine kindness and the amazing gift that he was to me when he was my student at Whetstone as well the wonderful adult he became after he graduated. It is rather uncanny that this remembrance happened because this past week, I met a young man who reminded me so much of Steve. I have wonderful memories of him. In my heart, he remains alive.

It's strange. I was just thinking about Steve a few days ago. I still miss him! I know that he is absent from the body; but he has a permanent residence in my heart. I was blessed to have this young man and his brother David as my students at Whetstone. His love and influence still remains here with me.

Marjorie and family,
I consider myself honored to have been apart of your lives and charish the memories and fun we had together (the three of us in that tiny dorm room!). Steve always lived life to its fullest and seemed to challenge the rest of us to do the same. I know that Steve is looking over you and the kids and God will provide strength to get you through. You are blessed with so many friends and such a great family and we will all be here to help and support you always. Love...

Marjorie, Lindsey, Camden, and Jack,
Our prayers are with you. We loved Steve as a friend and as a fellow Christian. We know that he is with his Father in heaven. Steve was a wonderful person and always had a positive and kind word to say. We miss him terribly but know that we will be with him again someday.
In Christ's Love,
Pam, Chris, Hannah and Michael

To Marj, Lindsay, Camden and Jack:
May God bless you for the untimely loss of Steve. Our loss is our Lords' gain. I will always cherish the time I was able to spend with my good friend. Whether on the golf course, in the office or at a Hens game, Steve's spirit and sense of humor was always present. Deep in my heart I know he's watching over us today and everyday going forward..but knowing Steve he's smiling down on us.

Dearest Marjorie, Lindsay, Camden and Jack, my love and prayers are with you during this time of grief and loss. Please know that whatever I can do, I will. Steve was a wonderful treasure in my life. I love you.

Sincerely,
Alvis Moore

Steve was my student at Whetstone High School. He was more than a student, he was a treasure, a friend and a wonderful reason for me to come to school everyday. I will never forget how I got Steve into character for his lead role in "Rebel Without A Cause". We were working on the scene where the lead character, Jim, was supposed to push his father and storm out of the house. Well, Steve could not display anger and more than that, he could not lose that priceless and heartwarming smile. I...

I served on the Board of the Exchange Club Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse of NW Ohio with Steve. Steve was our President & what a great Leader he was, our Center is growing & serving more at risk families than ever before. Steve worked so hard in this Volunteer position - he set a great example for all of us. Always a smile on his face & full of energy - we will miss him tremendously. Thank you to his family for sharing Steve with us! We were so blessed with his friendship &...
