It was a pleasure to have known Steve and had the honor to sail with him on the Dew Drop Inn. OWSA has been lucky to have had him aboard the roster. Peace out to the big man who could indeed make anyone laugh and feel confident at the whelm! Peace to his family & friends to a life well lived...

I have such fond memories of Steve and the laughter on Dew Drop Inn! Sailing with Steve through OWSA got me through a tough time in my life. He was an inspiration and I cherish the memories!

I remember Steve from high school and college. Sorry to read of his passing. He was a good friend a very long time ago. Glad to know he had a wonderful life.

I knew Steve in high school, we worked on the Sunset Scroll newspaper together. Later, our paths crossed again when he worked at Schultz Wack Weir printers and called on the ad agency where I worked. He was a really great guy. My condolences to his family and friends.

I first met Steve when Karla and Steve had just begun dating. It was New Year's Eve, and as was the case on many a NYE, I was alone. Though it was their inaugural New Year's celebration, Steve was kind enough to include me in their romantic evening. I was introduced to a gentle soul and could tell by the way he looked at Karla that something special was brewing. Sail on my friend!
