Not sure what to say?

Steven,
As a fellow Marine, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Semper Fi Devil Dog!
Mike Casey USMC '85-'89

Thank you for serving your country so courageously. It is because of men and women like yourself that we continue to enjoy the freedoms we have in the United States. God Bless You.

To the West Family,
I have never met any of yout but as I drove through town today and passed by the church I saw the horse drawn carriage that would carry your son to the cemetary. I had tears in my eyes as I approached the common I saw so many people waiting to honor him and the fire dept waiting with the ladders for him to pass through. My heart breaks for you but I know you are proud. He died a hero.

God Bless

David & family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Our hearts go out to you and everyone who was a part of Steven's life. Please know you are in our thoughts & prayers. May you find peace of mind and comfort in happy memories shared with family & friends. Stay strong and keep the faith, with love & hugs

Steven was an amazing neighbor, an amazing friend, and always made me smile. He was one of the most talented people I have ever met in my life. I was so proud of him when he told me he was going into the Marines. Steven knew what he wanted to do. Everytime I walk or drive down our street, I think of the laughs I shared and memories I will keep with Steven. He was an amazing man and an outstanding brother to Dennis, James, and Cullen. Steven is a son that would make any mother or father proud,...

I would like to express my sincerest condolences to your family. I, too, lost a brother in the Marines at the age of 20 on July 20, 2002, just 2 weeks shy of his 21st birthday. Remember he served his country with great honor. Know that my thoughts & prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dear West family,
My thoughts are with you in the loss of your courageous Marine , Steven.
Like my nephew, David, and my cousin David (Many Davids in our family) who proudly served our country to help keep us free I am proud of your son.
Please take care -
Pat Williams

To the West Family, my deepest sympathy. Steven is a Marine that alone speaks volumes about what kind of man he was. To the Dad David, my son also is 20 years old and he also is a Marine. Enough said. You and your family will be in my and my families prayers.

To the family of Steven West.
No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. To the extended family, may many memories bring you comfort at such a difficult time
