I met Steve in 1990, through the Las Vegas Flyfishing Club. He was one of a kind, funny, warm, caring and generous. I was fortunate to fish with him on and off over the years. He showed me a lot of great places, from the backcountry of Utah and Nevada, Lee's Ferry, a trip in the van to the San Juan, and even a couple hikes to second meadow of Slough Creek in Yellowstone. I will never forget him and all those stories he stand and share at the club. The meeting was never over till he shared...
