Not sure what to say?

It just isn't going to be the same at work for me. Not seeing you in your cube, or sharing some silly thoughts, will be sorely missed. Like everyone else, you always seemed to be able to weather all the changes and challenges working at Tek/Xerox. Others have mentioned the sigh of relief from the fish and elk, but for me not being bugged about getting some report created or fixed will be missed. Always patient about some of the time delays, made working with you with a good time. Yeah,...

I'll miss the times we shared fishing and prospecting together. I'll miss your friendship.
Jerry Maxwell

Both Carol and I worked with Steve for many years; his calm, friendly and reassuring presence was appreciated
during both stressful and happy times over the years. Work without Steve will not be as much fun; he will be missed and remembered fondly for a long time.

Sad news. I knew Steve as a little cousin and did not have contact with him after he left home. He was a good kid and must have been a good man. Please except my most sincere condolences, he will be missed by all who knew him.

Dude!! We'll miss you man. The fish are the only ones happy about your passing. I'm sure a couple of elk are breathing a sigh of relief as well. The rest of us think it sucks and can only keep asking ourselves "why so young?". Being a year older than you it makes me rethink what time I have left and if there's one thing that I've taken from the heart-ache of losing a friend is that I'm going to value what time I have left more than I've allowed myself in the past.
We've worked together...

Steve was a good man; a gentle individual who sought the positive in situations. He did not seem tolerate complaining but instead would spin conversations to the positive, prefacing his view with a pause and a drawn out "Well..." With his subtle shifts of perspective, he created a positive work environment for others even in demanding times. He'll be sorely missed.

Steve was always the voice of reason and the face of patience. He also had that subtle smile and a wry wit that if you didn't pay close attention you might miss. He ensured all of us had a good day, every day!

Steve so set me at ease.
Steve was so steady so it settled me. Steve was so calm so I could do my best.
Steve's spirit to me now envelops me.
Goodbye Steve I will miss you.
