Read MoreSo sorry for your loss. I worked with Steve at Waste Water. He was always a great guy. I wish that I would of keep in touch after retirement. We have a few similarities. I retired in 2003. I got a lab after retirement. He was a black lab, a great dog. I was in Viet Nam, and I have a granddaughter named Avery. I'll try to make it to the Memorial. Thanks for the very nice obituary.

Steve made a lasting impact on me and my children. He set the bar for what it means to be a Dad, father, grandfather, and husband. Truly the kind of human being this world is in need of. He will be missed. Never forgotten.

Stevie and I pretty much started as wastewater treatment plant operators together at Gresham in 1978. We worked together for 6 years and he was one of the finest individuals (and THE best operator) I have ever known. Stevie made work fun. My condolences to his family for their loss. Stevie was truly one in a million.
