Not sure what to say?

Fr. Steven was a wonderful example from a long lost era where men, whether they be priests or not, were taught to be Christian gentlemen and by that attaining full stature with the personhood of Christ. He was one who never dismissed an opportunity to help another, and this help was not relegated to one's particular faith or not. He was kind, courteous, gentle, respectful, practical, compassionate, and understanding of others. At the Village we remember him never being too high to push David...

Dear Presbytera Ann,
Although I was a fellow D.Min. student with Fr. Steven, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you. But, through Fr Steven, I knew clearly about his love for you. I am saddened greatly by his death, even though I am confident that he is now with our Lord. He was always kind, respectful, and helpful to me, every time he had the chance.
May our Lord receive Fr Steven into his presence and strengthen and comfort you during this difficult time.

Dear Mrs. Yankopoulos,
I was sorry to learn of Fr. Steven's death. He was a student in the Doctor of Ministry seminar I taught at the House of Studies last fall. Although I only knew him for a week, I found him to be an earnest student, a compassionate priest who cared deeply about his people, and a warm and personable man. I will pray that our God will comfort you with a special sense of his presence as you go through this time of grief.

I wish I could have been with you this week but I will keep you in prayer as well. May God bless and keep you. In Christ, Deacon David
