Steven Charles Yeager, of Glenside PA, passed away suddenly on Thursday June 8, 2017 at the age of 32, due to an undetected heart defect. Steven was born on February 19, 1985 and grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and earned a bachelor's degree from Temple University and was just beginning a promising career in financial forecasting at Prudential Financial. Steven was the 13th child in a family of 16. His siblings, Christy, Warren, Jill, Eric, Bruce, Kelly, Dan, Russell, Evelyn, Lorraine, Timothy, Melinda, Michael, Amy and Alan, all remember fondly growing up with Steve's quick wit and impish antics. Stevens father, Warren Yeager, is his only remaining parent, as his mother, Linda nee Bickings, passed in 2013. Father-in-law Thomas Master, Mother-in-law Doris Donohue and sister in law Brittany D'Andrea join dozens of other in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends in mourning this sudden and painful loss. Steven's kind and affable character will live on through his 3 children Alivia, 6, Alexa, 3 and Kyle 19 mos. Steven fathered his children with tender care and love, and he was deeply loved by them in return. Recently, Steven navigated his family through some tough times as he stood fearlessly and selflessly by his wife, Brooke, as she battled and defeated breast cancer. Brooke and Steve, often referred to as "Barbie and Ken" by family, were truly and eternally in love with each other. All of our prayers go to Brooke and the children in this difficult time. Any who wish to pay final respects to Steve can join his large, loving family at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church at 120 Easton Road in Glenside on Tuesday June 13, 2017. Viewing hours will be from 9am-12pm, with a service to follow. Steve will be laid to rest in Hillside Cemetery at 2556 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn PA 19001.
