Thought about you yesterday & got lost in your music for awhile. Forever grateful for the friendship & I cherish the music you left behind.

It´s been a few years now since you´ve passed Steve, I first met you at the Grand Canyon with our friend Dave Hawthorn. Steve you were a phenomenal guitarist, enjoyed watching you play, couldn´t sing to well... lol, but man you were one to walk the talk on those strings. Thank you for being a friend, I´m not sure this a person you met that wasn´t a friend. RIP Steve!

Thinking of you today my friend. You are loved and missed by so many. You opened doors in my mind and challenged me to look deeper. I'd give anything to hear you talk again about string theory or the mysteries of the universe. If I had known our time was to be so short, I'd have paid better attention. Miss you my friend!!! I didn't understand how little time we had or I would've come to visit you! My biggest regret! Find my son Dallas in heaven and get him to play guitar again. You always inspired him when he was with us.

Steve taught me so much about music, guitar and even life. He always uplifted my spirit. Every moment I spent with him was full of teaching, fun and memorable times. He held not only musical talents, but also the talent to touch so many lives. I know he is up there watching and looking out for everyone.
